May Day Steam 2009

May Day Steam this year was again a success, with a good attendance from a  variety of exhibits. The weather was more favourable with bright sunshine on the Saturday and Sunday,  the Monday being overcast with the odd shower. Arena events were held on all three days.

After last year when the wet weather made Monday departures a bit of a challenge, the field layout was altered slightly for this year. A couple of friendly farmers with four wheel drive tractors were on standby as well. Luckily they were not needed, and the new layout seemed to work well.

Below are a selection of images from the event on all three days.
